It’s been a long time since my last post. Too long. Longer than I ever intended. The spring and summer have been busy, resulting in me not really feeling like I had time to write anything, which is of course rubbish as today’s post will prove.
I know I’ve talked about it before, but I came across this report on the BBC news website about the benefits of chocolate. They talk about drinking cocoa in the article, but say the health benefits are likely derived from the flavanols. The flavanols can be found in chocolate (high quality dark chocolate please), so it seems safe to assume that if there are health benefits to drinking cocoa, then the same health benefits can be had by eating the cocoa found in chocolate.
